Terms and Conditions to Read and Agree to Prior to Purchasing:

PURCHASING POLICY

PLEASE READ
Please do not purchase if you don’t agree with the following:

Please note that buying shipped eggs for hatching is a gamble and a risk you are accepting by purchasing. Please understand that the industry average hatch rate for shipped eggs in 50%, however you could have any were from as low as 0% to as high as a 100% hatch, because we can not control what happens during shipping, storing, handling, or incubating we do not offer a hatch rate guarantee. Any Extra or Free eggs provided are not to be considered part of your hatch rate.

Please know that especially with shipped eggs, lack of development does NOT equal infertility. The eggs that leave our farm are fertile, what happens after they leave here is unpredictable. Because of Potential damage that can occur during shipping such as if it was dropped, shaken or left in extreme temperatures, delayed in transit, eggs will not develop which would appear the exact same as an infertile egg. For example, you can’t hatch a scrambled egg, an egg that was frozen or that fried from sitting in the heat. Please do not falsely claim eggs are infertile, there are too many variables with shipping, storing and incubation, you can not take apart a shipped egg after any length of incubation and correctly distinguish infertility from damage.

Because of these factors, we cannot guarantee that your eggs will hatch, we do not offer a hatch rate guarantee, we do not offer refunds, returns or replacements. We do not file claims with the post office for late shipments or damaged packages, they provide insurance on priority mail if they damage your package. If that does happen please file a claim with the post office, we ship on time and package as best we possibly can to survive the trip but things can and do happen during shipping which we can not control. We are not a big corporation and can not afford to replace your order if the post office is delayed or damages your order. When your order ships, we will update you with a tracking number so you can plan to receive your delivery. We Can Not control the post office or do anything about packages that have left our hands. We thank you for understanding the risk and not purchasing if you do not agree with this. With all this being said, the entire reason we do this is to help others to be self sustainable and successful with having coturnix quail. We really believe in having quail, we enjoy them very much and want to help you to be successful.

Please know that especially with shipped eggs, lack of development does NOT equal infertility buying shipped hatching eggs is a gamble and a risk you are accepting by purchasing. The eggs that leave our farm are fertile, what happens after they leave here is unpredictable. Please understand that the industry hatch rate average for shipped eggs is 50%, however you could have anywhere from as low as 0% to as high as 100%, because we can not control what happens during shipping, storing for extended length of time, handling or incubating we do not offer a hatch rate guarantee.

We do everything we can to ensure you have a successful hatch! We regularly check for fertility and hatch eggs for eating and for meat for our family. Our eggs are collected fresh for each order and are never over 3 days old before we ship. All eggs are stored pointy end down in a temperature controlled room prior to shipping. Because we are a small family/hobby farm and do not keep a huge number of each variety, there may be a short wait with some orders based on the current demand. Most orders will be shipped within a few days to within 1 week, they could possibly ship immediatly depending on availability.

We can only guarantee that your eggs will be fresh and packaged as securely as possible as we can to try to prevent damage during shipment. We do not offer a hatch rate guarantee. We do not accept returns or offer refunds. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us to anyone for any reason at any time We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice

Shipped eggs will often appear unfertilized if they experience trauma during transit, such as being dropped, tossed, rolled, x-rayed, the jostling/vibration during a rough transit, or being subjected to too hot or cold conditions or if your eggs get delayed in transit, this can all impact your hatch rate. For example an egg that sat out in the heat could fry, you can not hatch a scrambled egg that was damaged or an egg that was exposed to severe cold and froze. Generally, if an egg does not develop at all, it was damaged during shipping. If it started to develop, but did not hatch, it is likely due to conditions in the incubator. In most non professional incubators it is very common to see fluctuations in temperature and humidity, and hot and cold spots. Too low of humidity at lockdown or opening of the incubator can make the inner membrane sticky and prevent the chicks from hatching. Too high of humidity can cause issues when the chick tries to hatch and could potentially drown from excess liquid. This is why we always recommend a secondary hygrometer/thermometer in the incubator to make sure it is reading correctly. Please note that checking for fertility is only accurate if eggs are fresh/non incubated. After a complete incubation, the blastoderm is so degraded that it’s impossible to tell for certain if an undeveloped egg was fertile or not. Because of these factors, we cannot guarantee that your eggs will hatch.

All eggs are inspected for damage prior to packaging, then securely packed in foam shippers that are custom made to ship quail eggs. When your package ships we will provide a tracking number to plan for your delivery. Although most packages are delivered on time and undamaged, packages can experience shipping delays and rough handling that is beyond our control. All USPS Priority Mail Is Insured! If you received a package that is noticeably damaged on the outside or any eggs with any cracks or broken eggs please take photos before opening and throughout the entire process. You will need to file a claim with USPS online or in person at the post office. We are not a big corporation and not afford to replace your order if the post office damages your package or is late delivering. Please do not ask us to file a claim for you in the event that unfortunately happens. We thank you for understanding and not purchasing if you do not agree with this.
